What Is The Book (Or Books) You’ve Given Most As A Gift, And Why?

Mitch Albom's "Tuesdays with Morrie" and the "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" -- both books are incredibly moving and inspirational. In terms of life-changing, I'd have to say that I really enjoyed Tony Robbins' "Awaken the Giant Within" and "Your Money or Your Life" by Vicki Robin is a total game-changer when it comes to money.

What Purchase Of $100 Or Less Has Most Positively Impacted Your Life In The Last Six Months?

It's definitely my Fitbit. I'm on my third one and have used it for at least the last 5 years. I love tracking my steps, sleep, weight, everything!!

When You Feel Overwhelmed Or Unfocused, Or Have Lost Your Focus Temporarily, What Do You Do?

I definitely meditate for at least 5-10 minutes and ask myself: "What do you need right now, goddess?" That always seems to ground me and snap me out of overwhelm.

What are bad recommendations you hear in your profession or area of expertise?

Keto, Whole 30, detoxes, cleanses...essentially anything that eliminates entire food groups or people trying to sell "quick fixes" which are usually overpriced supplements.

In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?

Definitely meditation and yoga have completely changed how I approach wellness. I was always so focused on nutrition and working out, but managing stress and having a positive mindset really set the stage for your health.

Tell us about your business. What does it do and what value do you add?

I'm an online fitness and nutrition coach. I help others reach their health goals and it's so incredibly rewarding to me.

How has Covid-19 changed your industry?

The complete shutdown of physical gyms has moved everything online with many people now working out at home.

How has Covid-19 changed your company?

It's really ramped up things as people are struggling to figure out how to eat right and work out on their own. They need even more support and accountability.

What's your favourite vegan meal?

If You Could Have A Gigantic Billboard Anywhere With Anything On It — What Would It Say And Why?

"The best is yet to come." This is mantra and I find it incredibly comforting regardless of the situation. Bad times will get better and good times will get even better.

What Advice Would You Give To A Smart, Driven College Student About To Enter The “Real World”? What Advice Should They Ignore?

Get some practice. Find a mentor. Do an internship. Don't be afraid to contact people whom you admire.

What Is The Most Significant Thing That Someone Much Younger Than Yourself Has Taught You?

My wise 12-year-old daughter noticed how driven I was on accomplishing my goals and said "but do you even enjoy the journey?"
